Image ideas for a birthday lotería
- Photos of the birthday kid at different ages.
- Family, friends and pets who are coming to the party.
- Party things: balloons, cake, presents, a piñata and party hats.
- Places, toys or characters from the party theme.
- Drawings made by the kids.
Which board size to choose
For young kids the 3×3 board works best: it needs 9 images and fills up fast. The 4×4 board (16 images) is the classic format and suits almost any group. The 5×5 board (25 images) makes the game longer and works for parties with many guests. The more images you upload, the more different the boards will be.
How to run the game
- Give each guest a board and print a few extra in case someone joins later.
- Use beans, tokens, candy or little stones to mark the squares.
- One person calls the cards, which print numbered and ready to cut out.
- With the control sheet you can quickly check whoever shouts “¡Lotería!”.
How to make your birthday lotería in 4 steps
- Choose the title and size. Type a title for your birthday lotería, how many boards you need and the size: 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5.
- Upload your images. Add your photos or drawings as JPG, PNG or WEBP and give each one a name; the name prints under the image.
- Check the preview. See how the boards and cards look. If you want other combinations, shuffle the boards.
- Download and print. Download the PDFs of the boards, the calling cards and the control sheet. Print on Letter paper at actual size (100 %) and cut along the dotted lines.
Frequently asked questions
How many boards should I print?
One per guest and a few spares. Each Letter sheet holds 2 boards, so 20 boards are 10 sheets.
Can I use photos from my phone?
Yes. It accepts JPG, PNG and WEBP. Phone photos are straightened automatically based on their orientation.
Will boards repeat?
Boards do not repeat combinations of images as long as there are enough combinations. If there are not, the app warns you so you can upload more images.
Does it cost anything?
No. My Lotería is free and you do not need an account.
