How to print lotería boards at actual size

For the boards to measure half a Letter sheet (5.5 × 8.5 inches), print the PDF on landscape Letter paper and choose “actual size” or “100 %” in the print dialog, never “fit to page”. Each sheet holds 2 boards; cut them along the dotted line in the middle. Print a test sheet first.

Paper and cutting

Plain printer paper is enough to play. If you want the boards to last, print on heavier paper or card stock, or laminate them. Cut along the dotted line in the middle to separate the two boards. The calling cards print 8 per sheet, with white space between them and cut lines through the middle of that space.

If your printer uses A4

The PDFs are made for Letter paper. On A4 paper there may be small margin differences: print a test sheet and check that nothing gets cut off before printing all the boards.

How to check that it came out right

Measure a printed board: it should be about 5.5 inches wide and 8.5 tall (around 14 × 21.6 cm). If it is smaller, the scale was not at 100 %.

How to print your boards in 4 steps

  1. Download the PDFs. In My Lotería download the boards, the calling cards and the control sheet.
  2. Open the print dialog. Choose landscape Letter paper and the “actual size” or “100 %” scale.
  3. Print a test sheet. Check colors, margins and that the board measures half a letter sheet before printing everything.
  4. Cut and play. Cut along the dotted lines. If you like, laminate or print on heavier paper.
